Our Palliative Care Service focuses on improving palliative and end of life care.
Palliative care is not just for people living with cancer.
Palliative care can be provided to people that have a serious illness that is progressing. Our focus is on relieving symptoms caused by the illnesses and improving quality of life.
Our aim with all palliative care clients is to:
- maximize the quality of life
- relieve pain
- provide comfort
- provide emotional support
- reduce stress on family members and friends
- create a calm and peaceful environment

We ensure that the appropriate level of care is provided at the right time in accordance to the complexity of our clients needs,
we do this whilst also taking into consideration their cultural and linguistic diversity..
Many of our clients start off with care for a few hours during the day. Other clients choose to have someone at night.
We tailor our services to suit everyone’s needs. We understand that needs may change and care can be increased or decreased at any time.
We believe in providing a continuity of staff and developing supportive relationships for our clients and their families.
We hand pick each nurse or carer to suit each client and their family which is based on skill, personality and culture.
Control of pain, symptoms, and psychological, social and spiritual problems is paramount. Our goal is the achievement of
the best quality of life for our clients and their families.
Different people want different things at different times. We can help with every step along the way. When cure is no longer the aim of treatment
maintaining the best quality of life becomes the priority. Managing symptoms is an important part of this.
24/7 Palliative Care Services addresses physical symptoms such as pain or nausea as well as helping with emotional, spiritual and social needs.
